A very vibrant and promising young Imo youth, Comr.Divine Chukwuemeka Okpe, who is highly revered in an online WhatsApp Group, has insisted that the activities of the operators of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, in the State at the moment is beyond touting as usually seen in the eyes of the public.
Comr. Okpe, is currently serving as the Chairman Council of Directors of Transportation, CODOT, in Imo State Tertiary Institutions, who made the above assertions, expressed hopefulness that Imo NURTW under the present Union Chairman would definitely succeed.
He is also the Director of transportation Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, in his post via a WhatsApp Platform, he extolled the leadership of Imo NURTW State Chairman, Hon. Sam Udeh, Ezeumuokorobia, for absolutely doing great as the boss of the union in Imo State.
The Owerri-West LGA-Born-Activist and Political Analyst, Comr.Okpe, in his recent post on the platform, revealed that “The whole world is advancing on a daily basis, so as things are getting better and redefined”.
He said, “As a concerned Imolite , I hereby suggest to the leadership of Imo NURTW under the authority of Hon.Comr.Udeh to engage all the registered and recognized staffers of the union on a routine sensitization”.
“There must be proper identification of all the Road Union Workers in Imo. A customized Identification Cards (ID cards) and even DataBase articulation of workers with code numbers should as well be provided to all of the workers under Imo NURTW as part of enhancing effective security and job protection of union members”, the Group advised.
According to Comr.Chukwuemeka, “If all the workers with NURTW in Imo State are officially captured on a Data Base, it will eventually encourage legitimacy, foster litigation, certainly limit impersonation and miscreants coming in to commit a crime and any bad act capable of jeopardizing the growth, peace, and development of Imo NURTW”.
In the same vein, the respected Imo youth, therefore, ceased the medium to shower encomiums on the Imo State Chairman of NURTW, Hon.Udeh, even as they echoed more grease to his elbows.
Responding, the celebrity Imo NURTW Boss, Ezeumuokorobia, has concurred to all the advice rendered by Comr.Okpe, and expressed optimism that the union under his watch has come to deliver positively with great leadership capacity.
Udeh, in his words, hinted that the union is poised to offer quality service delivery and ready to maintain decorum amongst unionists and motorists plying on the major roads in Imo State in general and in Owerri Metropolis in particular.
Ezeumuokorobia while, addressing newsmen in Owerri, promised to work in line with the mandates of the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodinma, for the development of the state as it concerns the reconstruction of the mindsets of all the road users in the state.
