NULGE To Expects Five Months Salaries Starting On Tuesday 20th

The Nigerian Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) is to start getting bank alerts for their five months outstanding arrears and salaries before the yuletide season ends.

The commissioner for information and Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy affairs, Hon Nazif Mohammed, Daiyabu Garga all confirmed this during the monthly briefing at the conference hall of Yakubu Gowon state secretariat on Monday.

The Commissioners assured the LGAs staff of government readiness to pay them all their outstanding salaries which was earlier promised to them that, Government has completed the monthly papers work with the office of accountant general

They said, this administration record low revenue generation between the months of November, December, 2016 fiscal year.

The statement stressed that the  revenue profile which was  drastically drop  below 600 to 800 million naira in the last few months was  due to high level of defaulters who fail to remit their revenue to the state account.

According to the statement, all the tertiary institutions in plateau state are still waiting for their outstanding salaries accumulation of  7 million naira which the accountant general visited the manager of UBA to clear grey area of resolving the differences .

Plateau state government also promoted 230 civil servants and 142 teachers who were qualified that received their letters as beneficiary of Lalong. Good gesture of ensuring a better for civil servants in the state.

Government continuous to approval and release of funds to meet critical areas of need has ensured steady progress in its developmental strides, the statement.

The ministry of justice received 82 criminal cases from different justice sectors of which legal advice has been proffered but only 75 criminal cases were officially filed.

The commissioner of Local Government and chieftaincy Affairs, Daiyabu Garga said, the ministry encourages agricultural activities in the 17 LGAs which have brought advantage in Irish Potatoes farming through FADAMA III to boost the production of crops in the state.

He said, government purchased and distributed improved seedling of tomatoes to farmers at subsidized rates and also signed  MoU with SOLBEC Ltd for the resuscitation of the long abandoned Panyam fish farm.
