NUC, NCCE, ICPC Attend Exam Ethics Anniversary Confab to Recharge Campaign And Boost Anti-Corruption War.

The National Universities Commission (NUC), National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) are among the agencies to join other 300 education stakeholders to attend the  Exam Ethics Marshals 20th Anniversary Conference to recharge the effort to end exam fraud in education and boost the war against corruption.

The Anniversary Conference, which holds from 20th to 24th March, is being organized to assess the impact of 20years of exam ethics campaign and chart new strategic  action plans for eradicating exam malpractice, academic dishonesty and corruption in education.

Professor Adamu Abubakar  Rasheed, Executive Secretary of NUC; Professor Bappa Mohammed, Executive Secretary of NCCE ; and Mr Ekpo Nta, Chairman of ICPC and other critical players in Education are billed to present important keynote addresses focused on promoting best practices and re-charging the effort to end exam malpractice in line with the  campaign against corruption. The Anniversary Conference is being Chaired by Professor Abednego Ekoko.

The highlight of the conference is the Anniversary Award Dinner where individuals and institutions that have supported, facilitated and inspired the sustenance of the campaign since 1996 will be recognized and honored  with various Awards. Professor Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba, Vice Chancellor of University of Nigeria, Nsukka is the Distinguished Chairman of Anniversary Award Dinner scheduled to hold on Friday, 24th March.

Seventeen (17) Education Leaders and CEOs will receive the Exam Ethics Chief Master Marshals Award while fourteen (14) Institutions will receive the Exam Ethics Friend and Partner Certification. Ten (10) new Institutional Exam Ethics Coordinators will be inaugurated while three (3) media houses including News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Africa Independent Television (AIT) and Radio Nigeria while receive special Awards.
