Killing of Student: Governor Al-Makura’s Son is Not In CID/Police Custody-Investigation

  • The Killer of Science School Student in custody Says Nasarawa Police Commissioner

Mixed feelings have continued to greet the whereabouts of the killer of the student of Government Science Secondary School Lafia, by an occupant of a high speed vehicle, Kalil Umaru Tanko Al-Makura on Sunday last week.

An investigation conducted by universalreporters247.com can authoritatively revealed that the alleged killer of the Student is not in the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department as selected Journalists visited the office of the Area Commander at about 12:20pm Tuesday.

Our reporter who was at the CID office with tag number 21 and signed out at about 12:10pm gathered that no suspect with such name was in police custody as the chairman of the detainee shouted that Kalil is not here.

Hear him; “you mean Kalil Umaru Tanko Al-Makura the governor’s son who killed a student of Science School, Lafia, they should bring him here”.

Further visit to a police cell at A Division proved abortion as the Divisional Police Officer referred the media team to B Division, as he said the Science School Lafia is not in his Jurisdiction.

The State Commissioner of Police, Shehu Abubabar in a telephone conversation confided that the killer slept in the custody of police yesterday night.

He debunked the aspersions that the culprit is being protected by the police.

It was revealed that the corpse of late Ovye has been laid to rest yesterday Monday in his country home some kilometers away from Mada station, the headquarter of Akun Development Area.

The youngster it was uncovered was the only surviving child of his parent following the subsequent demise of his two female sisters, the family was plunged into shock as the mother fainted during the burial of Ovye which was attended by top government functionaries.
