NSG To Build  More Schools, Classrooms Worth Over N2 Billion

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule irked over the conditions of schools in Mada station, the headquarters of Agidi Development Area says his administration would embark on the building of additional classrooms and new schools to the tune of over N2 Billion.

He made this known at a town hall meeting as part of his campaign rally in Mada Station of Agidi Development Area of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government area of the state.

He said the amount would be used to build additional primary and Junior secondary schools due to the increasing numbers of pupils and students cut across communities.

The Governor while addressing the people of Mada station, Engineer Sule said he got information about the school being destroyed by rainfall in the community and has sent a delegation to take stock of the gravity of the destruction.

He explained that “On the report, I got from the delegation that visited the school I have big news for you today were in discussion with the Universal Basic Education Board, and  were are looking forward to the establishment of new schools and additional classrooms in the two schools in Mada station and other parts of the state”

He further said the additional school will cope with the increasing numbers of pupils and students in the state primary and junior secondary schools respectively.

Governor Sule also buttressed that his administration has rehabilitated the primary healthcare in Mada Station, with a  promise to establish a general hospital to meet up with the population of the area.
