NSCDC Ondo State Command Arrests 3 Suspects For Dealing In Illegal Adulterated Petroleum Products
On the 10th of September, 2015, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ondo State Command in a combined operation of the anti-vandal and armed squad unit through a tip off arrested three (3) suspects at Ode-Irelei in Irele Local Government Area and Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State where about 20, 000 liters of petroleum product were destroyed.
The first suspect Ojasanmi Feyi (28years) who admitted to have committed the offence claimed not knowing that they are engaging in criminal activities of illegal dealing of petroleum products at Ode-Irele in Irele Local Government Area.
The names of the suspects are; Ojasanmi Feyi (28 years), Babanla Ifeayi (20years) and Oyesiji Rasheed (17years).
The State Commandant of the Corps, Adeyinka Fasiu warned that ignorance in law is not an excuse; he therefore reiterated the commitment of the corps at getting rid of illegal bunkering activities and all other forms of criminalities in Ondo state.
