The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State Command, has received a new State Commandant.
The new Commandant, Alhaji Musa Mala took over the mantle of leadership from Mustapha Talba (CC), who is transferred to the Zonal Command Headquarters, Zone C, Bauchi.
Before his redeployment to the State, the new Commandant was the Zonal Head of Operations at the Zonal Headquarters, Zone D, Kaduna. He equally served the Corps in various capacities and in different States including Benue, Niger, Yobe, Borno, and Jigawa.
On taking over, the State Commandant charged officers and men of the Command to live to the expectations and aspirations of the general public of providing security of lives and property.
He said he will do his possible best with the cooperation of his men, members of the general public, and in synergy with other security agencies to bring crime to a bearable minimum in the State.
He strongly admonished his personnel to be Civil and friendly in their conduct, shun corrupt practices and always exhibit high level of professionalism.
The Commandant was a former 2ic of the Command, and very conversant with the nature of crimes and security architecture of the State and will use his vast knowledge in resolving them.
