The Jigawa State Government has purchased Six Official Motor Vehicles for the newly established Collage of Nursing and Midwifery, Babura.
The Vehicles which are strictly warned to be used for only official Purposes includes: 2no; of 36 Seaters Luxurious Coster, an 18-Seater Toyota Hiace (Hummer) a Durable Toyota Hilux for the use on general mobilities of the two Schools and 2no; of Toyota Corolla for the Director of Nursing and that of the Midwifery of the schools each, within the Collage.
Speaking During the Handing-over of the Vehicles to the management of the College, through Provost Jigawa State Collage Of Nursing and Midwifery, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Salisu Mu’azu called on the beneficiaries to only limit the use of the Vehicles to the stated purposes not to vire them to personal use at all cost of needs.
He further assured them of the total Commitment of present Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar’s Led Administration to uplifting and strengthening the state Health Sector for the best benefits of the people in the State.
In his earlier welcome address, Director of Nursing Services Department in the Ministry, Mal. Abdullahi Ibrahim Garin-Gabas, applauded the Badaru’s Led Administration for its kind enthusiasm in the State’s Health Industry and will surely continue making good effort to produce good products of Nurses and Midwifery and other Medical Personnel that will meet the demand of the State and all Part of the Country.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Provost Jigawa State Collage of Nursing and midwives Alhaji Kabiru Usman Shehu, thanks the Permanent Secretary for the gesture and solicit to extend the same to Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar on his tireless commitment of ensuring health institutions remained vibrant, and ensured him that to his watch the Vehicles would be used for only the tasked purposes
