Northern Women, Youths Eulogizes  Plateau Assembly Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Yipmong For Impacting On Society

The Nigerian Women in Politics and Good Leadership (NWPGL) in Northern Nigeria including the Northern Youth of Nigeria have presented awards of honoured to the Plateau State Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong for his positive contributions toward impacting in the lives of women and children in Nigeria.

 

President of NWPGL ,Hajiya Hussaina Adamu on Thursday presented the award Rt Hon Shehu Yipmong at the Plateau state House of Assembly complex .

 

According to her ,the leadership quality of the deputy Speaker is what attracted the association of Northern women to give him the certificate of honoured in recognition to his style of leadership.

 

“We acknowledge the positive impact Shehu has demonstrated to the women and children in Nigeria which spur us to identify with him ,his friendly nature has shown us that he is very important personality who understand the plight of rural women “,she explained.

 

Mrs Adamu also said best on the Beijing conference and the affirmative action women are canvassing for more appointment under the leadership APC government because women have done credibly well in the aspect of management of leant resources at their disposal.

 

She disclosed that  the Northern women in politics are drumming full support to the Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong who have distinguished himself from other members of the 8th Assembly .

 

Responding the Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong said ,” it is heart warning with the historic visit by the two strong bodies of northern women and youths for identifying with him and his positive contributions to humanity even though with the leant resources at his disposal.

 

He said as leaders we must not wait until when we gather money before touching the lives of vulnerable people in the society ,as politician we should imbibe the culture of providing to the people of our constituency.

 

Yipmong appreciated the women and youths having give him the award of honoured ,he give God the glory by dedicating it to the people of Dengi constituency which is a pointer that the shall carry out his responsibility in the 9th assembly seriously because he never new the society is watching over him.

 

 

He described women as the role model of any society that is the reason why he gave attention to the plight of vulnerable women especially those widows and orphans .

 

The Deputy Speaker has constructed constituency office Dengi the headquarters of kanam Local Government Council and provided transformers to the people of Kunkyam district and he introduced free medical services to 2,800 people including surgery .

 

Yipmong expressed confidence on his reelection to the 9th assembly that the people should expect more dividends of democracy if the situation improve for him to embark on people oriented programs .

 

He employed the youths to shun all evil tendencies and embrace unity for them to progress because no nation can developed with the type the criminality exhibited today.
