Rt Hon Yipmong Congratulates Former Deputy Speaker On His Appointment As Commissioner In Plateau Assembly

The Plateau state Deputy Speaker, and Member Representing Dengi constituency, Rt. Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong has congratulated Rt Honourable Abubakar Yahaya Kanam for his appointment as a commissioner in the House of Assembly Commission.

In a press statement made available to journalists in Jos.

Hon Yipmong lauded the Governor Simon Bako Lalong for appointing Abubakar Kanam as commissioner in the state house of Assembly complex which greatly honoured by all sons and daughters of Kanam LGA.

According to him, “We write to congratulate one of us, Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kanam, on his meritorious appointment by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong as a Commissioner in the House Of Assembly Commission”.

He added, “Your appointment sir, is very apt considering your precedent and tract record as former Deputy Speaker and member in the Plateau State House of Assembly”.

“We challenge you to translate and practically demonstrate your repertoire of skills and expertise in the discharge of your duties for your success in this adventure”, he said.

“We believe your appointment is an ample opportunity, once again, to continue to make positive impact on your people by urging you to join efforts and compete favorably with other illustrations sons and daughters of Kanam by using your office to bring good things to the people of Kanam in particular and Plateau state in general”, he noted .

While thanking the the Governor for finding you worthy to serve in that capacity, we also assure him that Yahaya Kanam will act with decorum and continue to be a worthy ambassador of the government in that behalf.

We also thank the speaker and members of Plateau State House Of Assembly for the confidence they have in you as evident in their express approval of your name to serve.

We equally appeal to the House to provide the enabling environment as we also urge you to work toward a harmonious working relationship with them for you to succeed
