The immediate past State Chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA,Imo State Chapter, Dr.Darlington Akukwu,last Wednesday, Aug.7th 2019,in Owerri, described all the leadership appointments so far given to the people Imo State by Governor Emeka Ihedioha, as the right steps in the right direction towards rebuilding the state.
Dr.Darlington made the assertion during the official swearing in ceremony of the 18 State Commissioners by the State Governor at the A his holy Convention Centre New- Owerri area of the state.
The Imo NMA Emeritus State Chairman, Dr.Akukwu, while speaking, expressed satisfaction with the height of leadership acumen of the Governor in chosen the right brains as his aides amongst millions of Imoliltes.
He therefore commended the Governor for making the state proud in less than his 100 days in office.
The immediate past Imo NMA State Boss,further extolled the Governor for selecting Dr.Vin.Odukwu,as the State Commissioner for Health, stated that the Commissioner has multiple medical experiences that would benefit the masses, especially those in the rural areas.
He therefore charged the newly sworn-in Health Commissioner to duties, even as he promised to support the govt.of the day to succeed.
Dr.Akukwu, more so congratulated all those newly appointed to serve,but enjoined them to work harder towards rebuilding the state with the Governor.
