Nigerian Engineers Commends Gov Bala Over Quality Road Construction

The Nigerian Society of Engineers, Bauchi chapter has commended Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of the state for the construction of quality road projects in the state.

This was contained in a press briefing at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat on Monday in Bauchi.

Chairman of the association, Engr. Muhammad Hadi Ibrahim, FNSE, said that the quality of road construction improved infrastructure contributes to Job creation, stimulates commerce, and enhances the overall quality of life for the good people of Bauchi State.

Ibrahim said that the dualization of road construction in Ningi-Gudduba of 11km recently awarded by the state government at the cost of N10.3 billion it’s a very good development for the good people of the state, particularly Ningi local government area.

” It is important for the people to be aware that infrastructure development comes with a price and investment in quality roads has long-term benefits for the community, as the Nigerian Society of Engineers supports the government’s infrastructure development and attests to the integrity of the cost estimation for the Ningi-Gudduba dual carriageway road project.

” We appreciate the government emphasis on sustainability and durability in road construction, well-constructed road not only facilitate smooth Transportation but also minimize maintenance costs in the long run”

According to the Chairman said that ” It is crucial to recognize that that the positive impact of the road construction extend beyond mere physical structures, improved infrastructure contributes to Job creation, stimulates commerce and enhances the overall quality of life for the residents of the Bauchi State.
