Nigeria Senator From Bauchi, Ali Wakili Dies

The Senator Representing Bauchi South, Ali Wakili, has died at the age of 58.

Speaking to this medium, a distressed aide who spoke to this medium confirming the death of the Senator to www.universalreportersng.com stated that Senator Wakili slumped at his house in Gwarimpa in Abuja this Saturday Morning.

As gathered by this medium he was rushed to Viewpoint Hospital, where he was certified dead by the Doctor.

The late Wakili before his death was the Chairman Senate Committee on Poverty Alleviation.

The deceased Senator was 58 and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Ali Wakili was born in 1960. He is an indigene of Bauchi State.

He attended Lere Primary School in 1972, he then proceeded to Government Secondary School Damaturu where he obtained his senior Certificate. he then proceeded to Bauchi college for arts and science in 1979. For his University Education, he attended Bayero University kano where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Arts in1982.
He also attended Nigerian Customs training school, lagos in 1984 and the infantry centre and school, jaji in 1991.

Ali Wakili was also a Retired Controller of Customs.

In the 2015 elections he contested for the Bauchi South senatorial seat and won under the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC).

Till his death, he had as his legislative Interests; finance, revenue, appropriation, security, works, Agriculture and Education.
