A non- governmental organization (NGO) base in Bauchi/Plateau states known as Muslim Aid Initiative Nigeria (MAIN) said it is ready to fight the endemic scourges of AIDS/HIV, Tuberculosis and malaria victims among Muslim communities
The Executive Director, Sodingi Chindo made the observation while distributing skill acquisition materials to beneficiaries of on the graduation ceremony in Gamawa LGA of Bauchi state.
Chindo added that the beneficiaries were selected also from Jama’are and Katagum to enjoy items like knitting machines, hair dressing kits among others
The NGO he added is poised to reduce abject poverty among those stigmatize as well as to reach out to widows, orphans including vulnerable groups and to promote good governance.
About 60 sewing knitting machines are expected to be distributed in all the three Selected LGA’s.
