Nasarawa West Killings: Senseless Killings Can’t Be Accepted- APC Chairman

The State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State, Philip Tatari Shekwor has appealed to the  State governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura to take a proactive  measure to end the senseless maiming and killings ongoing in Toto Local Government Area of the State.

Shekwor disclosed this when the State executive of the party paid the governor a Sallah homage at the official residence at Government House, Lafia.

He said the lingering crisis between Egburra and Bassa has seriously affected the socio- economic activities of Toto and its environs.

He urged the governor to do everything within his power to nip the unabated Skirmishes by the bud.

The State governor while responding thanked the party executive for the visit, as he assured them of every support to move the party to enviable height.

Philip Tatari Shekwor commended the governor for conducting Local Government election twice in seven years

The party executive pledged total allegiance to governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for the conduct of a free and fair Council election in the State.

Calling on the governor not to relent in the execution of of meaningful projects as it was obtainable in the past in spite of the biting economic crunch.
