The governor hinted this when the State Executive of the Party led by the State Chairman of the party, Philip Tatari Shekwor paid him Sallah homage at the Government House.
Al-Makura averred that the oppositions lack tangible supporters to withstand the APC in the State.
He maintained that executives of the opposition party are the main supporters of their various political parties.
He boosted that Nasarawa State remain an APC dominated State.
“The ruling party in the State has a better chance to clinch all elective seats from ward to the president come 2019.
Al-Makura commended the State Working Committee of the Party for agreeing on a consensus Congresses.
” I’m proud of every one of you as an executive of the party because of your openness without supporting any aspirants.
Applauding the exco for conducting themselves during and after the ward, Local Government and State Congresses.
The governor admonished Moslems to embrace all by exhibiting Fairness, love, sacrifice and love during and after Sallah.
The State party Chairman, Philip Tatari Shekwor commended the governor for supporting the party in all ramification.
He said the party is in total support of Al-Makura to contest for senate come 2019.
“We will ensure that there is smooth transition to the senate by Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
Shekwor described the three Congresses conducted as free and fair.
Shekwor applauded the firmness of the State governor for ensuring that peace reign in the Party in the State.
