The Head of Service of Nasarawa State, Barrister Abigail Waya, has given the assurance. That the promotion of Civil servants will hold in the State before the end of this year.
“We will implement promotion but after conducting an examination called a promotion examination, but will not accord promotion to those civil Servants that are not coming to work”.
During an interview with Universal Reporters, who asked her about organizing a Civil Service Week for the second time, she confirmed that her office was constrained but will address that before December.
“My office is waiting for approval from the Governor, and I know he will approve of that. In some states, Civil Service Week was a yearly affair, but in our state is a new thing.
