Nasarawa PDP Inaugurates Reconciliation Committee By Rabiu Omaku, Lafia
The Nasarawa State Wing of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has inaugurated an 8-man reconciliation committee to look into the loopholes surrounding the aftermath of party primaries.
The Chairman of the party, Chief Yunana Iliya while inaugurating the committee called on the members to uphold the virtues of unity in the party, he also called on other party heavyweight in the state to volunteer in the reconciliation of aggrieved party embers and aspirants.
Those saddled with the responsibility of reconciling the aggrieved contenders are Engr. Sule Danladi as the Chairman of the committee, others are Bello Iliya Karu, Abubakar Akirga, Patricia Akwashiki, Tanko Wamba, Sani Ritired, Bar. Hassan Yakubu and others.
The chairman of the committee, Engr. Danladi expressed optimism that the PDP will clinch the Governorship seat come February 2015, describing the party in Nasarawa State as orphan, stating that; “ we are all PDP members, we are orphans because we have no government at hand.”
Attesting that poverty and insecurity looms under the leadership of the All Progressive Congress, while he calls for a concerted measure by the PDP to whisk away power at all cost in 2015.
