Nasarawa Newly Elected NLC Chairman Lauded Journalists, Says My Success Is Our Collective Victory

The newly elected Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Nasarawa State Chapter, Yusuf Sarki Iya has lauded Journalists for their doggedness in the discharge of their social responsibility.

Iya gave the disclosure during an interview with selected Journalists at Black and White Guest Inn along Jos road.

He dedicated his landslide victory to the entire workforce in the State ,he further commended delegates for their commitment in voting the right candidate.

Sarki lya asserted that he would accord priority to persuade what is legitimate for workers.

“Settling of impasse between employers and employee would the task ahead of us as new leaders”.

He described the 6th National delegates’ conference as free and fair election.

According to him, “I’m the Chairman,Nigeria Civil Service Union, Nasarawa State Chapter,go and confirm my legacies in the Union,I succeeded in building a befitting office, purchase a vehicle for the Union”.

Saying he not relent in tackling nagging issues affecting workers in the State, he however averred that he would focused on Staff Development, Conducive working relations with government, increment.

Iya buttressed that he would engage the State in a more mature way that will bring about Industrial Harmony.

“Prudency and accountability would be my watch-word in carrying all and sundry along.
