Nasarawa Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board To Refund N51, 107.040 To Intending Pilgrims

The Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has buttressed that the State Pilgrims Board would commence the refund of N51, 107.040 to 2019 intending pilgrims to the Holyland.

The Executive Secretary, Idris Ahmed Al-Makura hinted that the refund followed the Directive of the Chairman, National Hajj Commission of  Nigeria,Mal.Muktar.

He Stated that the repayment of N51, 107.040 would go a long way in addressing the preponderates faced by some Pilgrims who are not able to complete their Hajj fare.

Al-Makura asserted this during an exlusive interview with selected Journalists at the Pilgrims Board along Jos road.

“The refund of N51, 107.040 bring the Hajj fare to N1, 489,434.65 instead of initial N1, 533,960.60”.

When asked on the level of preparation for this year’s Hajj operation, Idris Ahmed Almakura maintained that all necessary arrangements have been completed.

“As you can see what we are doing here today is vaccination of all intending Pilgrims to the Holyland”.

Commenting on the number of people that embarked on this Hajj to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Nasarawa State, Al-Makura stated that about 800 Pilgrims would be airlifted to the holyland which he said will take effect from July 14, 2019.

The Executive Secretary said the State Pilgrims Board has closed the sales of forms to late intending Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

He disclosed that the closure was to enable the Board to concentrate on other nagging issues confronting Pilgrims.

Idris lauded the effort of the State Governor, Engr.Abdullahi Alhaji.Sule for his commitment to ensure a hitch-free Hajj operation.

At the time of filling this report hundreds of intending Pilgrims has turn up for vaccination.
