Nasarawa LG Poll: APC Sweep 13 Chairmanship Seats ,140 Councillorship , SDP Clinch 5 Wards, ADC 3,ZLP 2

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has swept the thirteen Local Governments Chairmanship seat in Nasarawa State. The Chairman of the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission, NASIEC, Bar. Ayuba Usman Wandai has declared.While declaring the result of the election,

The Chairman however added that SDP Clinched 5 Councillorship seats , ADC 3 and ZLP 2 seats respectively.

He further gave the breakdown of the electoral wards won by the opposition political parties to include Agbashi electoral ward won by Tabiha Osome of the ZLP, Danladi Ovye, Danladi Aza , Sunday Akpandam, Paul Afi and Hossia from Nasarawa Eggon electoral wards as well Ayuku Ayele and Zaki Sabo of two electoral wards of Obi Local Government.He however lauded the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for his prompt response and the free hand given to NASIEC to operate without any interference.

The Chairman of the Commission, Bar. Ayuba Usman Wandai thanked members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm for transparent and mature coverage and support accorded the Commission.Bar Wandai commended staff of the Commission for their maximum support and cooperation as he dedicate the successful conduct of election to the zeal, commitment and perseverance of his staff.

He also hailed the Joint Security Task Force comprises of Nigeria Police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps.
