Nasarawa Governorship: Giza Obtains ZLP Nomination Forms, Says I Insists “Democracy Must Thrive”

A Governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State, Abubakar Giza, has formally declared his interest to contest the 2027 Gubernatorial election under the platform of the Zenith Labour Party, pledging to build a productive, secure and people-centered State if elected into office.

Giza made the declaration during an official gathering attended by party faithful, supporters and stakeholders, at the party secretariat in Lafia, explaining that his decision to join the party was informed by its core ideals of equity, Justice and development.

The Guber hopeful noted that the ZLP represents unity, collective progress and equal opportunity for all citizens, stressing that the party believes in people moving together with one purpose to achieve greater goals for society.

He emphasised the need for a democratic process, noting that, unlike some political parties battling with prolonged division and litigation, ZLP remains united to deliver Nigeria.

“Unlike other political parties with series litigations in courts and having factions, the Zenith Labour Party has distinguished herself to be different without any of such”.

Speaking on his vision, Giza vowed his administration would prioritize economic revitalization and job creation in order to empower youths and reduce poverty across the State.

He slammed the ruling party for considering zoning ahead of competency and credibility, urging residents to vote for people with leadership integrity.

Also speaking, the state party chairman, Cletus Ogah expressed optimism in Giza’s aspiration, insisting that the party is for all.
