Nasarawa Deputy Governor Inaugurate 130 Party Agents For Council Polls

Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe has inaugurated a total of 130 party agents in Kokona Local Government Council of the State.

 

The inauguration followed the decision of the state lawmaker, Hon Daniel Ogah Ogazi’ who explained that the Local Government Council formed a group of 10 youths cut across the thirteen electoral wards that would Safeguard polling units and electoral wards.

 

He stated this during the rally of the ruling All Progressives Congress slated for October 6, 2021 Local Government Council election scheduled to hold in the thirteen Local Government’s headquarters.

 

The Deputy Governor during the inauguration urged the party supporters to work assiduously for the success of the ruling Party down to earth.

 

The State Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party, John Mamman appealed to party supporters to turn out en mass to vote the ruling All Progressives Congress at all levels.

 

Hon.Daniel Ogazi said the 130 party agents are APC warriors carefully selected to protect polling units and ballot boxes.

 

He described the choice of Hon.Awalu Adamu as a choice of all people of Kokona Local Government Council.

 

The member House of Assembly attested that APC would clinch the Chairmanship and the thirteen Councillorship seats come October 6.

 

Hon Danladi Jatau,a member of the State House of Assembly elected under the platform of the opposition political party, The People’s Democratic Party who recently joined the APC pleaded with the party to maintain Hon John Mamman as the party Chairman.

 

He said the continuity of John Mamman would add value to the party, saying the APC administration is the only party to beat, as he commended Engineer Abdullahi Sule for the grading of Angoro-Bassa feeder road.
