Timadix Geomin Consult Limited Forged Some Signatures-Nasarawa Deputy Governor Open Can Of Worms

Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe while fielding questions from Journalists in the controversy surrounding some consent letters they mining company obtained from some communities opined that some are forged papers without signature.

The Deputy Governor was the Chairman of the committee on solid minerals told members of the forth Estate of The Realm during a Press Conference held at his Office  that the State Government is ready to partner with any investors that will follow due process of doing business in Nasarawa State but not those that would be building themselves while our land are been degraded without value addition to the communities with solid minerals.

“During our committee work, we discover that Timadix Geomin Consult Limited especially signature of consent letters, Some consent letters has no signature

The Chairman of the committee on solid minerals affirmed that away from the committee comprises of himself as the Chairman, with Abaga Tọni, The Speaker House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, Hon.Daniel Ogazi Hon.John Mamman, The former and present Local Government Chairman and  other Political appointees are members of the committee .

“A sub-committee was also headed by the Chairman Kokona Council of Chiefs, series of meetings were held,a report of my committee was send to Cadastral zone, to verify certain things

He gave an example of the flight between mining companies working at same mining sIte at Nasarawa Local Government.

“Nasarawa State with the development in Nasarawa L.G, Our State loses over 16bn to the crisis stricken miners working at same mining sIte in Just four months”. The Deputy Governor told Pressmen.

“We would also welcome those that knows the real business of mining,I mean those that complied to Community Development Agreement (CDA).
