Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe while fielding questions from Journalists in the controversy surrounding some consent letters they mining company obtained from some communities opined that some are forged papers without signature.
The Deputy Governor was the Chairman of the committee on solid minerals told members of the forth Estate of The Realm during a Press Conference held at his Office that the State Government is ready to partner with any investors that will follow due process of doing business in Nasarawa State but not those that would be building themselves while our land are been degraded without value addition to the communities with solid minerals.

The Chairman of the committee on solid minerals affirmed that away from the committee comprises of himself as the Chairman, with Abaga Tọni, The Speaker House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, Hon.Daniel Ogazi Hon.John Mamman, The former and present Local Government Chairman and other Political appointees are members of the committee .
