Nasarawa Councils Shared N1.4bn As October Salary

Nasarawa councils are to share the total sum of N1.4bn as October allocation from the Federal Account Allocation Committee, the state commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs Ahmed Tijjani Aliyu has disclosed.

The commissioner stated this at the end of local government Joint Account Committee held at the state ministry for local government, he appealed to workers at the third tier of government to remain calm pending when the economy improve.

“There was sly drop in October salary of N500m as against N1.5bn in September wage bill, he however said the amount goes to staff of local government including staffers of local government Education Authorities (LGEA) and Health Care Unit.

“This is The breakdown of October allocation by the thirteen local government and Development Areas” they are as follows.
