- Says he is not aware of the missing names of 4 councilors
The caretaker committee Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State, Hon.John Mamman has said is not aware of the missing names of four Councilors in the just concluded Local Government Chairmanship and Councillorship primaries held across the thirteen Local Governments.
The Chairman during an exclusive interview with selected Journalists at the party Secretariat said is yet to receive any formal complainants from either Chairmanship or Councillorship candidates.
John Mamman further explained that is not aware of the missing names of three Councillorship candidates in the Sarkin Dawaki, Galadima, and Madauci electoral ward of Doma Local Government Council.
Other Local Government with pockets of complaints is the Councillorship candidate of Ashige and subsequently the complaint by Honorable Zakari Shuaibu Coordinator General, Zubairu Suleiman AKA Big Boss accusing the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Balarabe Ibrahim for using arbitrary power to change the list of delegates without consulting the people that matters.
He appealed to all those with petitions and complaints to forward their documents to the appeal committee for scrutiny.
The caretaker committee Chairman said consensus is the only way to foster unity in the party, Thanking all those that agreed on consensus during the last Chairmanship and Councillorship primaries.
John Mamman further thanked stakeholders for the good decisions by adopting consensus during the primaries as well as during the ward congresses held at the weekend.
The Chairman gave the assurance of the landslide victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress on October 6, 2021, Local Government Council election.
He said the mass exodus of people from other political parties to the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State is a clear testimony of Engineer Abdullahi Sule’s holistic approach to the affairs of the State.
