Jigawa Rated Among The Highest Number Of People With Eye Disease-Muslim World League

Jigawa state is rated among the highest number of persons with cataract and glaucoma eye diseases, according to the eye surgeon who rendered free eye Care treatment to people in the state.
Dr. Muhd Ahmed who is the state coordinator of Nigeria Muslim World League and its health Development partner confirmed the story in an interview with our reporter at Dutse general Hospital while conducting the surgery work to patients deployed from the 27 local governments of the state.
He stated further that 700 people are targeted to be treated free for having cataract in Jigawa State as it was discovered over 9000 people has various eye diseases and out of that 730 were screened with cataract.
The coordinator explained further that their organization renders free service to people, especially the Muslim countries of the world.
He commended the Jigawa state government for its efforts in providing health facility.
