The immediate past Financial Secretary of the APC in Plateau state Alhaji Ustaz Ibrahim has debunked the story of his revamping to the rival PDP in the state as been circulated.
Alhaji Ibrahim, who reacted to the news that he and a former APC chairman in the state, including two former speakers with others made in Barkin Ladi LGA of the state, met and agreed to decamp said it was false and just a figment of mischief-makers.
Making his position known in a press release signed by himself, he warned those behind the purported revamping to desist from such falsehood or they will be forced to take up the matter legally.
He said, “Without mincing words, I wish to distance myself from the purported decamping which, as far as I am concerned is the work of mischief merchants.
“I also wish to call on the state APC and the faithful government, my ardent supporters, friends and well-wishers to discontinuance the said news item because it is a black lie in its entirety”
Alhaji Ustaz added that for the avoidance of doubt, “I was not in Barkin Ladi on the day the so-call meeting was held and in addition; no one had dared to contact me or sold the blackmailing Idea to me to warrant a decamping”
He then warned those behind the story to desist from such acts of blackmail or be prepared to face the consequences of their actions.
