- As the Tijjaniya leader decorates first lady as “Protector of Qur’anic Recitation”
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has today urges Islamic leaders to focus on special prayers to Bauchi State and Nigeria at large in order to overcome security challenges and economic meltdown.
The Governor said this when Sheikh Sidi Ali-Bil Arabi who is the Grand Khalifa of Tijjaniya Sect, paid him a courtesy visit in Bauchi State.
Bala, noticed that, Nigeria is in seriously need of prayers from religious leaders for the restoration of peace and for the country to be on the path of growth and development.
Governor Bala wh welcome the Grand Khalifa of Tijjaniya Sect to Bauchi, pleaded with him to use his visit to pray for continued peace and security of the state.
He said Bauchi state being one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria; his administration will sustain its partnership with security agencies and other critical stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives.
“I am highly delighted to receive our leader, the Grand Khalifa of Tijjaniya Sect based in the Republic of Algeria to Bauchi state and we are honored by his visit to one of the legend of Islam, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.”
Governor Bala Mohammed told the Tijjaniya leader that his administration is working assiduously with a view to leave landmark legacies of achievements and requested for support and prayers for better performance.
Earlier, the Grand Khalifa of Tijjaniya Sect based in the Republic of Algeria, Sheikh Sidi Ali-Bil Arabi appreciated the effort of Governor Bala Mohammed towards the promotion of religious activities in the state.
Sheikh Sidi Ali-Bil Arabi congratulated the Bauchi state first lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed for her decoration as the protector of Qur’anic recitation, urging her to consider the appointment as an opportunity for her to give hundred percent support to the promotion of islam.
“We are grateful to His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed for the warm reception to my delegation, and I appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari for facilitating my visit to Nigeria.”
During the Grand Khalifa’s visit to the governor, special prayers were offered for the success of his administration and for Nigeria’s peaceful coexistence, progress and development.
