Merry Xmas Briefing: Blessed Are My Constituent, Ohaji/Egbema/ Oguta/ Oru-West, Says Uju

As part of his usual life styles on magnanimity and his normal nature of giving out the people, the  member representing Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta, Oru West Federal Constituency,  Hon.Engr. Kingsley Chima Uju, (Omeudo), was on last Wed.29th Dec.2021, held a get together summit with his constituents in line with the Xmas spirit of love.

The event which was tagged as a mare constituency briefing attracted members  so many electorates from across political parties in the Federal Constituency courtesy of the goodwill of the lawmaker, Hon.Uju.

Glorified by the yuletide season at his country home, Umuorji, Egbema in Imo State, Hon.Chima Kingsley, in his address, expressed satisfaction to behold the shining faces of all (politicians/voters) from his constituency who supported his 2019 elections.

Speaking, Uju, who couldn’t control his over flowing  joy, praised, worshipped and danced to God in thanksgiving for making all his enemies his footstools.

The highly celebrated lawmaker while addressing his people, called on those trying to blackmail him to rethink and turn new leaves, added that the best way to rule/govern is not by tarnishing the hard earned images of a good man ordained by God, even as he warned against setting up  people.

Omeudo in his remarks, thanked the name of God, cited the Holy Bible, “Surely they shall gather, but if their gathering is not of God, they must scatter”.

The legislator prayed that, “No weapon fashioned or formed against him shall  prosper”. They should not even think of  touching me because I am God’s anointed son. For those planning against me, they shall see the punishment of an evil doer and a wicked men”.

Hon.Kingsley recalled that the nomenclature as “Omeudo” was bestowed upon him by his constituents in his bids  to restoring peace in Awarra Court Area as former Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations) in during the administration of the Rescue Mission in Imo State.

The respected Reps.Member described himself as a peace maker and would do anything for peace to reign.

“Let it be on record that I have never killed anybody in my life. I have never sponsored anyone or group of persons to acquire weapons.  I was in government for four years, within that four years, I made sure, there was no gun shot Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru- West Federal Constituency”, Uju stated.

“Nothing will transform my life styles from rendering succor to mankind. Those attacking my should embrace peace. The era of politics are history. Now is the time to squarely face governance for development not by encouraging insecurity. The people are willing to see good roads, massive job offers, affordable and functional health care system, bore holes, schools and other social amenities”, Uju advised.

In his enumeration, the lawmaker unveiled some projects completely fixed and listed those still on going.

According to Omeudo, ” I have so many bills sponsored in the House even as a first timer at National Assembly. I have visible projects spread across over 20 wards in his Federal Constituency;

I have connected meaning employment to over 60 persons in the Federal agencies. Over 60 persons have been skillfully trained in different capacities and I have empowered so many. Just last November, 2021, my empowerment scheme has favoured many. I have facilitated the payment of over 3200 persons monthly through Federal government COVID-19 allowance”, Omeudo hinted.

“Over 250 persons  would be empowered and the following road projects from the first of January,2022”, Uju maintained.

“I have road contracts awarded which would be commencing via Umuagwo to Umukene, Umuoso to Obiti, by-pass of Oguta-Mgbidi to Umuabiahu, College Road to Ndieyemobi, Izombe to Ugbele. Etc.

Uju therefore extended his appreciation to the leadership of the 9th Assembly, Rt.Hon.Femi Gbajabiamila, his family, other members of the House, his  constituents and all Imo State at large.

Highlights of the Constituency Briefing in Spirit of Christmas was the swift donation of bags of rice, beans, garri, salt, indomie noddles, and other condiments to his various structures, groups, supporters and constituents with a cash donation one million, five hundred thousand naira.
