LP Applauds Voters, Cautions INEC And Security Agencies Violation Freedom Of Expression

The State working committee of the Labour Party and the Chairman of the Labour Party in Plateau State, Hon. Grace Zamfara have commended and thanked all Party Supporters who came out en masse to vote the LP in the last Presidential and National Assembly Elections of 25th February, 2023.
In thanking the supporters, Zamfara called for calm as the National Secretariat has taken the matter to court for proper adjudication.

The LP in Plateau State has condemned in strong terms the wrong figure released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to the LP in the Presidential and National Assembly Election and calls for the release of the real results. She frowns at the non usage of BVAs and non printing of LP name and logo on ballot papers as well as the mere allocation of votes to political parties.
Hon. Grace Zamfara in calling on the INEC and security agencies to be fair, just and treat all political parties equally without favouritism.
On the issue of posting of ICT staff to do the biddings and hatchet job for the APC in INEC, Plateau State, Hon. Zamfara, is urging the INEC & APC not to push their luck too hard as it may boomerang with negative consequences. We do not want a repeat of Bauchi and Gombe similar results as well as two Kano LGAs same results.
To the Plateau State Government and the APC, we appeal that due respect be accorded traditional rulers rather than drawing them into politics by threatening them to work for the APC or be dethroned. It is equally uncivilized to threaten non-indigenes in Qua’an-Pan with expulsion, retrieval of farmlands and other social benefits if they vote the LP.
Lastly, we strongly warn against a repeat of the presidential magic of allocation of LP votes to others in next Governorship and House of Assembly elections but urged all LP voters and supporters to come out en masse to vote the LP in the Governorship and Assembly elections on the 11th of March, 2023 to avoid voters’ apathy.
