Lamido Accuses APC For Promoting Injustice Between Herders/Famers

The Presidential Aspirant of People Democratic Party ,PDP, Dr Sule Lamido has accused the All Progressive Congress under the leadership of ,President Muhammadu Buhari for  creating ,poverty and injustice between herders and farmers across the middle belt region.

 

Lamido said Farmers and Herders have enjoy peaceful coexistence among them for several years of leaving together but with the coming of APC regime the spark of hatred had widen gap between these peace loving Nigeria.

 

He disclosed this to the journalists at Lt General Jeremiah Timbut Useni resident in British American Junction ,

 

The former Governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido  said  he wouldn’t defect from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) even if he lost its presidential primary.

 

The former governor made the pledge his commitment to the family of PDP  while in Jos for a consultative visit.

 

Lamido also stressed that he wouldn’t leave his party even if he lost the party’s primary, because he believed any aspirant that emerged as the candidate of his party would work based on his party’s legacy and heritage.

 

“In PDP we have over one million Sule Lamidos, one million Wikes, Fayoses, Dankwambo and Darius (Ishaku), but we have same heritage, our political DNA is in each other, unlike in APC, which has only one human being, the rest are articles. So anybody emerged as my party’s presidential candidate would work based on our party’s legacy and heritage.” He said.

 

He clarified that the reasons why former President Olusegun Obasanjo wanted him to be President of Nigeria were due to his capabilities, commitment and passion for the nation.

 

He said, “I have been in PDP much much earlier than Obasanjo but he became my president, and in me he has seen the capability, the commitment and passion for Nigeria, that’s why he was saying me.”
