Governor Simon Lalong government admitted his administration inadequacy of not living up to her responsibilities of providing the social needs of his campaign promises to the people.

This is as Governor Simon Bako Lalong on Tuesday issued out a verbal query to three ministries of Land and survey, urban development and regional planning for their inability to discharge their duties effectively as commissioners.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of all the commissioners for their failure to adhere to his rescue mission of delivery the manifesto of APC government.

The Governor accused the commissioners of their incompetency of not working in accordance with his laid down procedures of providing the citizens of Plateau state the dividends of democracy.

He frowned at the manner where two machines purchased to assist in the rehabilitation of roads were not used due to fighting between two ministries over the ownership of potholes machines land this made the machines not being used for almost three years.

The Governor told his commissioners that my query goes to all the ministries including Jos metropolitans Development Board (JMDB), Plateau state  Environmental Public  Service Agency (, PEPSA), for abandoning heaps of refuge dumps that are littered across the state capital.

According to him, the commissioner for Land and Survey, Hon Festus Frontier , Hon Abbas Abdullahi of Environment and Bulus Bot of Urban Development assured him that if money is released to the ministries it would help in increasing the revenue profiles of the state but four years down the lane the state revenue had continued to dwindle.

The Governor opened up the chapter of lamentations saying, Plateau stakeholders have been accusing him of not picking their calls or responded to them but he always replies “noted” and they feel the state is not moving on track.

Lalong complained that his administration has bought two potholes repairing machines for rehabilitation of roads within the state capital but that his regret now is that two ministries are fighting over whose ministry should take charge.

My commissioners are playing politics with the machines which I purchased for the construction and rehabilitation of roads if this nonsense will continue like this; I either auction the machines or give them out as a gift to the neighboring state due to nonchalant attitude of them.

“I know that they always organize a program of this kind to invite me just for them to gain from it, very sad that all this is not reflecting in the lives of Plateau state citizens. After this workshop I want an immediate result, you’re not executing my policies, Lalong told commissioners.
