The Kidnappers of a businessman in Gambar Sabon Layi, Tafawa Balewa local government area of Bauchi State, Daniel Yakubu Dabua have demanded N20 million ransom.
It can be recalled that unknown gunmen have invaded Kwafa Community, Gambar Sabon Layi of Tafawa Balewa local government area of Bauchi killing four persons after opening fire on a family house of a local chief.
An Uncle of the kidnapped victim, Honorable Adams Haruna Kwanams Gambar informed our correspondent that the kidnappers have placed a phone call to the family of the businessman early morning of Wednesday to demand the ransom.
“They just called to tell them that they must pay a ransom of N20m before they will release him”, he said.
Gambar said that the family members are worried and confused about the incident because they don’t know where to get the money to secure freedom for their loved ones.
“They so much believe that he will be released in Jesus’ name. We just spoke with them early this morning but they ended the call and we have been calling back but the line is not reachable”, the uncle of the kidnapped victim said.
“But we are still waiting for what God will do, because he is the final arbiter of everything at this critical time”, he added.
Hon. Gambar solicited for prayers from members of the public so that the Kidnappers will release him with immediate effect.
He also called for continued prayers for God to grant peace in Tafawa Balewa local government, Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.
