The Kano Economic and Investment came to a close yesterday with the climax of the event being the signing of Memorandum of Understandings by the State Government with 10 companies.
According to the State Governor while receiving MoUs signed with the companies stated that the projects to be carry out with the companies will fast-track as well as accelerate development and enhance job creation in the State.
Among the companies that signed the MoU include was Dangote Rice Limited, Brains and Hammers, Milestone International Company, Broadband Nigeria Limited and EEC among others.
Projects expected to be established by these companies include setting up of Tricycle manufacturing plant, mass housing, construction of Kano Economic City, Solar power plant etc.
In his closing remarks and vote of thanks, Governor Ganduje said henceforth the economic summit would now be an annual event, as he also said that the Samsudeen Usman-led organizing committee is now a permanent one.
Speaking further he assured that he will give his total support for the implementation of the projects to the last.
