JUST IN: Governor Tambuwal’s Spokesperson, Imam Imam, Is Dead

The Spokesperson for Sokoto State Government, Imam Imam, is dead, he was aged 41.

Mr. Imam Imam died over complications of Pneumonia, at Nizamieye Turkish Hospital in Abuja.

He gave up the ghost after a brief illness at the early hours of Friday.

Mr. Imam, a graduate of Kaduna Polytechnic where he studied journalism started his career as a Journalist with New Nigerian newspaper and later joined This Day newspaper and rose to the position of Political Editor.

Mr. Imam until his death was the Special Adviser on Media to Sokoto State governor.

He left behind two wives and four children.

According to family source, the deceased funeral prayer will hold at 2pm today at Annur Mosque, Abuja.
