Jossyann 2022: Ogochukwu Weds Chijioke Amidst Jubilation In Imo

Marriage is honorable and undefiled in accordance with the Holy Scriptures, so therefore, a man will leave his father and mother, got married to a woman and both will become happily married as one body(husband and wife).

 For the above divine reason, on Saturday, April 23rd 2022, there was a massive jubilation recorded from the Solemnization of Holy Matrimony between Mrs.Ogochukwu Annabel & Mr.Aham Chijioke Joseph, at St.Johnbosco Catholic Church, Owu-Amakohia Ikeduru LGA,Imo State.

The marital bliss ceremony commenced via the Order of Mass with processional hymns, introduction of rites, penitential rites and liturgy from the officiating priest who ministered at the solenmization holy matrimony Rev.Cornelius Ajaegbu, (Parish Priest).

Declaration of consent was made by Rev.Ajaegbu, who joined the man and the woman as husband and wife before God and the congregation.

Blessing the newly wedded couple, the cleric, Rev.Fr. Ajaegbu,  by the authority vested upon him, blessed them and charged them to love each other and toll the paths of peace, even as they exchanged their wedding rings as the signs of love and fidelity between Annabel & Joseph.

In his brief sermon, the Catholic Clergyman, Ajaegbu, cited the book of Ecclesiastes, where it reads: “Happy is the husband of a really good wife; the number of his days will be double. A perfect wife is the joy of her husband; he will live out the years of his life in peace;

A good wife is the best portions, reserved for those who fears the Lord; rich or poor; they will be glad of heart; cheerful of face whatsoever the reason. The grace of a wife will charm her husband; her accomplishments will make him stronger;

A silent wife is a gift from the Lord; no price can be put on a well-trained character. A modest wife is born twice over; a chaste character cannot be weighed on scales”.

Fr.Ajaegbu, furthermore advised the newly wedded (JossyAnn) to see their marriage as a holy institution that is ordained to last forever until death do them apart.

He encouraged them on the needs to live   with love, unity, understanding, patience, and tolerance and shun their present outlooks (beauty/handsomeness) which may fade away.

“Now you are lawfully wedded in the sight of men and God, you must be in love so as to be able to conquer all the challenges of marriage;

Endeavor to leave in peace any possible to make each other happy at all times because you are now one body as husband and wife;

Never allow the third parties into your marriage. Always pray together and embrace each other”, the cleric submitted.

More so, some men of God in attendance are: Rev.Fr.Philip Opara (Assistant Parish Priest), Bro.Ambross Iwuagwu, (Catechist) and Bro. Matthew Anyanwu (Catechize), who in their separate words of encouragement, charged them to abide in love.

Highlights of the marital knot tie ceremony between Ogochukwu & Chijioke was the signing of the marriage register, thanksgiving and group photographs from all and sundry who witnessed the marital blissful wedding from far and near.

The successfully wedding was duly sponsored by Sir.& Lady Ben Egbujor.

Hence, Mr.Kelechi Kingsley Uzoma, served as the Best Man, as Miss Esther Onyezewe, served as the Chief Brides Maid, whereas the Page Boy was Little Master Wisdom Agbapuruonwu, with Little Miss Amanda Obioma, as Little Bride and where Onyi Amushie, was the Cake Designer.
