Jos North Community Endorses Lalong, Hassan For 2019

The Ibrahim Katsina ward in Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State has presented message of endorsement to Simon Lalong, and Hon Ibrahim Baba Hassan for their outstanding leadership ahead of 2019 general elections.

He lauded the governor and the former deputy speaker for their outstanding, visionary leadership quality of transforming the live of the people in their constituency with many projects.

We have seen that the present government is for all, we have our sons in the state executive council, and we also have a son as member in the house of assembly.

Alh Alhassan commiserated with Governor Lalong over the death of his deputy chief of staff, a director in the government house and lately his commissioner.

They drummed support for the Plateau State House of Assembly leadership and also asked them carry everyone alone including members and young in the community so that peace will reign.

He reiterated the commitment of the member who is up and doing to ensure that peace prevail in the community.

“We must express our appreciation to the government for its all-inclusive style of leadership, patronage in bringing development to our neglected areas,” he said.

Alhassan enjoined members of the house to emulate Ibrahim baba Hassan of commitment and focusing people oriented programme that have direct impact to the lives of their community.

The Jos -east, member, Hon Joshua Madaki described the visit as a; “motivation and encouragement,” to all other members of the house to put in their best.

Responding to the community Hon Ibrahim Baba Hassan, said the visit was an indication of a fact that his elders and youths have been following his footsteps.

“It is now time for me to work in my immediate constituency, I have started work for a hospital building, we have sunk boreholes and more of it will be done,” he said.

Hon Hassan decried non presence of a primary school in his ward of Ibrahim Katsina, saying pupil risks crossing highway during schools hours due to absence public school in the ward.

The Deputy speaker Yusuf Babayo Gagdi, joined the community in appreciating Simon Lalong but solicited the cooperation of the leadership to help government create awareness campaign on peaceful coexistence in their community.

He expressed that education is the back rock of any meaningful development, stressing that peace is a requisite for any development, urging members of the community to collaborate with other nearby communities to promote peace.

“You visit for the second time, is an indication that you are appreciative of what we are doing in the House,” he said.
