Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency: Theresa Azi Intensifies Campaign For  Baba-Hassan & Nentawe

The Former Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Hon Theresa Ajang Azi has disclosed her plan to deliver Jos North West to the Former Deputy Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon  Ibrahim Baba-Hassan was burnt out of passion and desire to hand over the campaign structure projects ahead of 2023.

Addressing party, faithful at Ibrahim Baba-Hassan compound in Jos North, she solicited the cooperation of her campaign team to accord Baba-Hassan the same vote to win  Jos North/Bassa Federal constituency in the general elections.

She said that what encouraged her as a grassroots politician to hand over her campaign team to the Hon Ibrahim Baba-Hassan was due to Ibrahim Baba-Hassan’s transparent and political commitment to the well-being of citizens.

Azi explained further that we’re here to congratulate our candidate and to let him identify with us throughout his journey of electioneering campaign to the victory.

She stated that primaries have come and gone, and we are here to reinstate our desire toward building unity of oneness because we are one family of APC.

Meanwhile , Ibrahim Baba-Hassan thanked the Former Chairperson of Jos North for the show of love and maturity in politics.

He assured her of working together as members of APC and also carrying everyone alone.

According to him, today marks a milestone in the history of our politics in Plateau state, particularly the good people of Jos North where you see a defeated aspirant accepting defeat and promising to work for the party this is great.

Baba-Hassan promised never to forget the Theresa Azi team now his campaign team, saying there is no opposition in Jos North, you are free to come, and let’s discuss how to move forward.

He said there is nothing in Jos North LGA  like PRP anymore, we are responsible for our own defeat in the bye-election and we have to correct that error, we only gave them chance and were on the same page.

Baba-Hassan charged the supporters to embark on wider consultation with the following stakeholders,Prof Danladi Atu ,Hon Shehu Bala , Hon Nazify Mohammed,Jerry Worr  , Mohammed Mohammed , Sani Gangare, and Bashir Musan-Sati by reaching out to them individually.

He called on them to intensify their campaign to all the look and crannies of the state as ambassadors of APC for the party victory.

Ibrahim Baba-Hassan employed the 7 federal wards of Tudun Wada of Jos North LGA which included commissioner, councilors, stakeholders, and Exco past and serving to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship.

Also, the Chairman of the campaign team, Hon Nentawe Dazel expressed satisfaction with the accommodation accorded them by the Baba-Hassan.

He said, we have worked hard to where we are following the mentorship of Hon Theresa Azi, and to us is a continuation of the APC project.

We don’t have any other party to support than the APC which we have worked for over seven years.

Iliyasu Labaran eulogized the APC flag bearer for relating with everyone without looking at his or her background .

He disclosed they are determined to support the aspirations of Ibrahim Baba-Hassan to clinch the seat and bring change.

Baba-Hassan Director-General Yausha’u Mazado harped on the legacy of alignment with the APC and the stakeholders of the party.

He stressed that they can’t regret their action of supporting the Former Deputy speaker who is a philanthropist and generous giver.

Mazado appealed to all a sundry to strengthen the tide of unity and should not allow any religious leaders to divide us, we are one indivisible entity that nobody can separate us.

He employed politicians to eschew politics of bitterness and rancor to address the problem of underdevelopment.

We must learn to accommodate each other’s differences no matter what if this nation is to progress.
