Hon Ibrahim Baba-Hassan picks Jos North/Bassa Constituency ticket

The Former Deputy Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly and current Member Representing Jos North-North Constituency Hon Ibrahim Baba-Hassan has clinched the primary election of Jos North /Bassa Federal constituency ticket.

In an interview with our correspondent, Baba-Hassan expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the primary election.

He won under the banner of the All Progressive Congress  (APC ) and promised quality representation if elected.

Ibrahim Baba-Hassan stressed the need to ensure credible elections in Nigeria by calling on other aggrieved aspirants to put behind them their differences and work for the victory of APC.

He won the APC ticket to contest the 2023 Jos North/Bassa Federal constituency as the sole Aspirant as he defeated the Former Management committee Chairman, Hon Theresa Azi , Hon Anna Izang .

He was declared the winner, after polling the highest votes during the voting exercise at Lamorde Hotel, Election Officials and party faithful among other observers.

Ibrahim harped on promoting peaceful coexistence amongst Muslims and Christians in his constituency, saying election shouldn’t be a do or die exercise.

He called on the electorate to elect those people with integrity and who are focused to deliver dividends of democracy to the teeming populace.

As a grassroots politician, he assured the plateau of qualitative representation and purposeful leadership
