Jigawa State To Spend N14 million For Up Coming Quranic Recitation Competition

Jigawa state government is to organize the batch 32 Quranic recitation competition which is expected to take place on the 9th of November 2017 at the Jigawa state polytechnic Dutse.

This was announced by the executive secretary of the Jigawa state Islamic Berue Malam Yakubu Abbas Yakubu in an exclusive interview with universalreporters247.com in his office, Abbas said all the 27 local government areas are expected to participate in the competition.

He added that 324 students are expected to grace the competition from various location of the state, as he said all local government areas are expected to participate in the six categories of the competition, the categories include 10 Hizif, 20 Hizif, 30 Hizif and 40 Hizif others include 50 Hizif and the last is 60 Hizif to make complete holy book of Allah.

The participants will include female and male, adding that there is not going to be gender discrimination he said, the sum of N14 million has been earmarked for the competition which will use for logistics such as gifts and prizes for participants and other things.

He stated further that qualified and International judges who specialized in  Quranic recitation competition have been employed to work for the completion.
