Jigawa State Released Over N650m For The Construction Of Manpower Development Institute By Umar Faruq Usman Dutse

The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved the award of contract of over N650 million naira for the construction of accommodation facilities at Manpower Development Institute.
The state commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports and Culture Alhaji Babandi Ibrahim announced this while addressing news men after the council meeting at Government house Dutse.
He said the contract which includes the provision of accommodation facilities for 48 self contained rooms was awarded to Babandoki General Enterprises.
According to him, the consultancy services of the contract were awarded to Moses Design Limited at cost of N35 million naira.
The commissioner maintained also said  that during the sitting the council approved the contract review of Jigawa State University Kafin Hausa which was initially awarded at total cost of N1.176 billion but has now been  reviewed to cost N1.421 billion and it was awarded to Datum Construction Limited.
Babandi added that, the council also approved the additional contract for the old Police Headquarter from initial amount of N1.487 billion to N1.690 billion and was awarded to Dantata and Swoe Nigeria limited.
He then said, the last items during the council was the approval of the provision of additional street light in Dutse city  which over N47 million.
