Jigawa State Constructs Pension Office Worth N370 million By Umar Faruq Usman Dutse

Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State yesterday commissioned the N370 million edifice for the Jigawa State Pension Board which was initially established by the board through their little earnings.
This was disclosed by the Jigawa State Head Of Service Alhaji Mustapha Aminu Wanbam Dutse during the commissioning of the Pension Board Office who said that the present administration of Governor Sule Lamido in 2007 launched the scheme which now has a total net of pension asset worth of N4, 552,169,339.00 with the total number of employers and employee contribution from 2007 to date which stood at N22, 845,524,301.50.
According to him he said the total benefits paid from 2007 to date is N16,027,973,616.42, which he also said that it is worthy  of note to know that the earning generated from the investment of the scheme fund from February 2001 to 30th September 2014 amounted to a total of N8,628,311,101.50.
The Head of Service stated that now the scheme has a total fund net assets value amounting to N19, 157,754,620.01 according to the last year report as at September 2014

in his remark the Executive Secretary Of The Pension and Contributory Scheme Comrade Shuaibu Kiri commended the Jigawa State Governor for the support given to them in achieving their target to generate and also to establish their permanent office in the state capital Dutse  that cannot even compared with other states of the federation.
