The People Democratic Party, PDP, Jigawa Chapter has commiserated with the people of Jigawa state over the statewide flood disaster affecting the state.
The PDP said the state is under severe hardship and pain caused by the developing impact of floods in most parts of the state as it sympathizes with people in the state.
The Caretaker Committee Chairman, Umar Isah Mungadi expressed concern as the rainy season is still on, cities, towns, and villages, and farmland are still under threat of being flooded.
He, therefore, called on the government at all levels and all well-meaning indigenes of the state and the country, in general, to support the people in curbing the ever-increasing threat of flood and also to assist in reducing the suffering of those already affected by the flood disaster.
He, therefore, prayed for the people who lost their property and farm produce for quick recovery.
