Jigawa Judicial Service Commission To Organize Training For Judicial Staffs

The Jigawa State Judicial Service Commission will organize training for all Magistrates on Non-Custodial Services members in an effort to meet with the yearning and aspiration of the Scheme in the State.

 

This was disclosed by the State Chief Judge and Chairman Judicial Service Commission Hon. Justice Umar M. Sadiq through the PRao of the commission Malam Abas Wangara in press released distributed to newsmen shortly after the Controller of the Correctional Service Jigawa State Command paid him a courtesy visit.

 

Hon. Justice Umar M. Sadiq described Non-Custodial Service as the best mechanism use to decongest Correctional facilities, reduction in the cost of handling inmates as well as a way of addressing security challenges in our various Correctional Houses.

 

Hon. Chief Judge stated that there’s a cordial working relationship between the judicial arm and Correctional Service in the State.

 

He, therefore, said the decongestion of the facilities, Speedy trial of cases, and welfare of the inmates are a few among significant issues that need to be addressed.

 

Speaking earlier, State Controller Correctional Service Mr. Mu’azu Garba Charanci expresses satisfaction for the support being rendered by the State executive and judicial arms towards successful discharge of their official duty.
