Jigawa APC Chieftain Usman Kazaure, Accuses Badaru Administration Of Performing Below Expectation

A chieftain of the All progressive Congress [APC] Hon. Bello Usman Gada Kazaure has expressed concern on the way and manner, the governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar disowned party followers in terms of goodies and the lackluster performance of his administration within the last two years.

Hon. Gada made the remarks while appraising the two years of the Badaru’s government in an interactive session with newsmen in Dutse.

He stated that even though , when the government came on board unfortunately, there was  economic  meltdown because  the price of Oil which was the main stay of Nigeria’s economy was below $30 dollar per barrel , but gradually things continue  to improve  as a result of intense economic measures taken by president Muhammad Bauhari, where states receive their monthly  allocation from the Federation account , but what was achieve in Jigawa state was  very little in terms of provision of infrastructures  in the state.

He lamented that masses and workers came out massively and voted for the government but have been crying due to abject poverty while party’s stalwarts who suffered during electioneering were disowned totally by the governor.

‘’We went all nooks and crannies of Jigawa state  during campaigns , made promises  to improve the living standard  but my worry is that we failed them , and if you give advice, the governor will out rightly regard you as his enemy. Let me say that any government which is not heed to advice is on sleeper sand and is bound to fail woefully,’’ he pointed .

The Ex. Councilor of Kazure local government council who commended the efforts of the governor for continue with roads projects he inherited from the PDP government despite lean resources of the state as well boosting agriculture ,advised him to do more in other areas  in order to improve the welfare of the masses of the state and also cautioned the governor to be careful with cabals within the government whose only after to make their lives better at the expense of the majority .

He debunked the insinuation that  some people sponsor him to  with air time  to attack the government of Badaru saying  that it was a baseless allegation which has no iota of truth adding that he will not fold his arms, ’where  ever I see  things going abnormal, I must advice the government  to follow the right path no matter the extent of pressure , intimidation  or  harassment meted against me, ‘’
