A group of concerned citizens under the aegis of the Integrity Group for a Better Nigeria (IGBN) has called on President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to allow the present serving chiefs to address the socio-economic challenges and to promote all-inclusive development by playing their collaborative role in supporting his efforts in curbing insurgency in Nigeria.

He says, the security agencies would continue to maintain their professional conduct through a kinetic approach and respect to human rights of the citizenry, and remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
Daniel Sani stressed that they are calling on the government to address some salient and pressing issues that can tear the Country apart if left unchecked.
He also acknowledged the untiring efforts of the Military in curbing terrorism in Northern Nigeria.
Sani, however, reiterated that their operations have no doubt yielded significant results, including neutralizing terrorist commanders and rescuing hostages, as securing lives is key to ending terrorism and returning all displaced persons to their communities.
According to him, he makes bold and unequivocally to state that the Northern part of Nigeria has not had it this good since the returned of democracy this is because almost the whole of Borno and parts of Adamawa and Yobe states where under the control of the dreaded group, BOKO HARAM, until the advent of the present administration in the Country when the insurgents were neutralized, the areas recovered and all displaced persons return to their Communities.
He explained that these achievements demonstrate the Military’s commitment to restoring Peace and Security, so that the service chiefs are working to restore the lost glory of the country.
Daniel Sani said that this conference is corroboration by a group known and addressed as AREWA JOINT ACTION MOVEMENT (AJAM) in their publication on the Daily Post Newspaper of 30th May, 2025.
“The group believes that the change in administration in 2023 marked a pivotal moment in the fight against insecurity in the region, adding that there is now hope that peace could return.
The group also hailed the dedication of Nigeria’s service men and women in tackling criminals in the northern part of the country.
He said, “We foster dialogue and trust between security agencies and local communities.
Peace building initiatives:
We promote tolerance, understanding, and peaceful coexistence within communities and security to support victims.
“We assist families affected by terrorism. The Integrity Group for a Better Nigeria (IGBN)’s collaboration with the Military and Government agencies has been instrumental “, he said.
Intelligence gathering: We facilitate information sharing between communities and security agencies.
Rehabilitation programs: We support initiatives aimed at reintegrating former victims and combatants. To achieve total peace, he noted.
