INEC Confirms Dr. Godfrey Miri As SDP Governorship Candidate For 2019 Election For Plateau

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has released the list of candidates for the 2019 general election and confirmed Dr Godfrey Miri as the only SDP flagbearer in Plateau state not Rev  John Pofi who is being speculated on social media .

 

In a press statement made available to journalists in Jos by Yusuf Hamman Samuel on Friday on behalf SDP Plateau state chapter, the tate Chairman of Social Democratic Party, SDP ,Gyang Badung pam has called on the general public to disregard rumours making round that Dr. Godfrey Miri is not the candidate of the party .

 

The Party secretariat stamp to confirmed to the SDP supporters that Dr Godfrey Miri remain the party  candidate of in Plateau State ,we urge our party men and women to see that information as baseless .

 

Badung issued that as the state chairman the party filed in only one candidate to the national leadership for the forthcoming governorship election, therefore ,advise anyone sponsor to cause confusion to the SDP supporters to desist  from the act.

 

We encourage our supporters to vote for credible candidate that can transform the economic fortune of Plateau people from the hands of political mischief makers .

 

Hon Badung said SDP is a party for the masses and is a movement with policies and programs that can impact positively in the lives of citizens if given the mandate in the forthcoming governorship election .

He solicited the cooperation of our entire sundry to vote leaders that have principle and ideology to change the economic wellbeing of the state.
