The members of Imo NUJ Federated Chapel under the leadership of the Chairman, Mr.Emma Chukwu,have approved the official appointment of the Committees/Members under the platform.
Sequel to the outcome of the general meeting held on Friday,Nov.15th 2019,in Owerri,the Federated Chapel members collectively and jointly agreed on the appointments of some members of the union to be fully in-charge of various committees.
The Committees and its members as appointed to serve were as follows:-
- Constitution Drafting Committee:-
Austin Agwulonu ,- Chairman
Ifeanyi Onyekachi,- Secretary
Val Nduka,- Member.
- Ethics and Disciplinary Committee:-
Nnamdi Ogwazo,- Chairman
Ikechukwu Ozurumba,- Secretary, Nnamdi Iheagwaram,- Member, and Delight Okorokwo,- Member.
- Contacts and Mobilization Committee:-
Anselem Anokwote,- Chairman, Jennifer Okoroafo,- Secretary
Leo Nwanekwu,- Member.
The Executive more so, agreed to have meeting on Monday,Nov.18th 2019,by 9:00am prompt,before the commencement of the General Meeting on the same date,by 10:O0 am on the same day.
As such will enable us to also draft the Terms of References and Service duration (time limit) in which the Committees shall work and be terminated.
The Committees shall be officially inaugurated on Monday, Nov.18th 2019.
