The Isu LGA IMC Chairman,Chief Nnamdi Sixtus Nsorom, the IMC of Orlu LGA,Hon.Chief Aloysius Oluigbo, and the IMC Chairman of Njaba, Hon.Chief Obodoshaa Agwubuo, respectively on last Wednesday, 8th 2020,described the actions of the APC in Imo State as lack of wisdom, understanding and misinformation.

Speaking, the IMC Chairman of Orlu LGA, Hon. Chief Aloysius Oluigbo, said, “actually, we earlier heard a tip off about their invasion but their subdued by the members of the Council, the PDP members and the staff of the Council, even the Orlu Police Division officers assisted on combating the APC Chairmen, Councillors and their supporters who came on invasion of the offices in Orlu LGA Council”.

Chief Oluigbo, disclosed that they forcefully came into the Council Chambers, destroyed over 150 newly constructed school desks, broke some glasses and the Council gate was damaged by the APC thugs who were led by the sacked Chairman, whose immediate past administration where unable to achieve any tangible project for the past 8 years.

“We are keeping vigil night and day to avoid reoccurrence because we were reliably informed that they are planning to re-invade offices soonest”, he revealed.

Oluigbo, however advised them (APC) to keep off from all the Council Headquarters in Imo State and allow the Rebuild Mission led administration of Gov.Emeka Ihedioha to concentrate on his bids to make Imo State better.

In his words, the LGA IMC Chairman of Njaba, Chief Obodoshaa, expressed disappointment over the alleged invasion of the Councils offices in the LGA’s of the state by the APC Chairmen and Councillors where legitimately suspended/sacked by the Imo State House of Assembly, IMHA,members of the immediate past administration of Chief Rochas Okorocha, and as such, they have no genuine reasons to forcefully invade offices.

Chief Obodoshaa, therefore condemned their actions as illegal, ugly and lawless for encroaching into the Council through the back fence, but thanked the security operatives, council workers who subdued the APC.

“We chased them away, brought them and collected their flags. They want to cause confusion but we in PDP resisted them”,Obodoshaa stated.

He commended the Traditional Rulers,Religious leaders, the youths of the LGA for making peace and tranquility to reign supreme in Njaba.

Meanwhile, the IMC Chairman of Isu LGA Council, Hon.Chief Nnamdi Sixtus Nsorom,in his comments, expressed disappointment over Imo APC actions of invasion, which according to him was described as an ugly incident.

“They are hoodlums, unscrupulous elements from the Imo APC extraction of Isu. Over 3000 hired thugs with arms invaded the Council. They were shooting sparodically led by one Chimezie Nwadike,Geoffrey Asika, from Ekwe and a whole lots of them until their bullets killed one of them. Yes,he (the victim) was an APC thug. Now he is dead, but we are sorry for his sudden death”,Nsorom submitted.

“They came to forcefully take over power. With whose mandate? Which authority? The Ekiti State LG Supreme Court verdict can not be applied in Imo State. There are due-process of doing things. We didn’t retaliated. There own bullet killed one of them in APC.PDP as you know as a political party remains the most peaceful party in Nigeria”,Isu IMC Boss said.

Chief Nsorom, while speaking, commended Gov.Emeka Ihedioha for believing strictly in due-process,rule of law and fairness.

” Imo PDP can not come through the back door.We are passionate towards Rebuilding Imo. APC should allow peace to reign. They should legitimately seek redress through the court and not reliably upholding the Ekiti State Judgement”,Chief Nsorom noted.
